| This week on Bass Agenda in part 1 we have the rare pleasure of an in depth interview with Detroit’s Filthiest (formerly DJ Nasty). It’s almost impossible to put into words and a single show just how much incredible music this guy has made. Without a doubt he is one of the most versatile artists Detroit and the wider underground can boast; Ghetto Tech, House, Electro, Techno, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass and productions that blur the genre boundaries most artists are constrained by. Whether its classic non-nonsense Electro as Digitek Intelligence Assassins, sophisticated Drum & Bass as Detroit’s Filthiest, and horny dance floor wreckers as DJ Nasty or in collaboration with DJ Godfather or Technasia or producing hip-hop for Galafati this is a guy that’s had talent pouring out of him all his life. Prepare for a trip down memory lane and into the future…
In part 2 the diversity and energy stays high as Brutuzz brings the guest mix. Those who attended Dave Clarke’s ‘Whip It’ Electro night at the Melkweg in Amsterdam earlier this year will know this guy means business and knows how to motivate the crowd. A highly talented DJ he’s known for co-running various nights in The Netherlands spanning Dubstep, Grime, Hip Hop and beyond…. Like our guest in part 1 Brutuzz focusses on one type of music – good music… |
