| Along with the 20th anniversary re-release of Celluloide‘s debut album Naive Heart on 12″ LP vinyl, we’re now delighted to unleash the band’s Six Wounds Seven Lies EP. After the release of Naive Heart in 2002, it soon appeared that some alternative versions would be needed for upcoming concerts, and the band had no other option at that time but to re-record the tracks once more…Celluloide then went on re-programming Sixth Sense, Wounds Of Love, A Lie and Seven And Forever with newly instrumental versions recorded, giving these very four songs new multitrack recordings available again. => click to watch the video Roughly mixed versions were used for concerts of that era, but then the recordings got totally forgotten as the years went on, until very recently…The idea of giving now a proper mixing and record release to these four tracks by adding the original vocals to make them sound as they were intended to be back then, instantly stood like the right thing to do.Listening to this special EP is like diving into the past through a time machine, and hearing the songs exactly as they were originally intended with all their details and clarity…Six Wounds Seven Lies EP is available as a 10″ clear vinyl (that comes as a bundle with the Naive Heart 12″ LP) or as a semi-transparent CD mini-album with the Naive Heart anniversary edition or separately.
