Vol. 3 features 10 tracks of subterranean exploration, recorded at vacant houses, various raves, and sessions pulled from the notorious Katabatik studio in Oakland, CA. Covering a wide expanse of uninhabited terrain, Abandoned Tracks Vol. 3 continues the tradition of Abandoned Footwear’s obscured mid-tempo house music, containing a refined, signature blend of improvisation, hardware synchronization and late night acidic swerve.
Accompanying this release is the limited edition “Abandoned Footwear 2011-2019” 32GB flash drive, attached to a single repurposed shoe. The exFAT formatted USB drive contains high quality WAV files of every Abandoned Footwear release (Abandoned Tracks Volumes 1-3, the “108 Trees” 12” originally released on Isounderscore, and the Cuss Fetish split cassette), as well as 27 previously unreleased, remastered live sets. This complete and comprehensive archive contains nearly 30 hours of material completely unavailable in any other format. It is available in an edition of 20 via Katabatik.org

KATABATIK x DARK ENTRIES FEB. 15 IN-STORE
Katabatik will be throwing a party to celebrate this release on February 15, 2025 at the Dark Entries storefront in San Francisco.
Featuring DJ sets from Nezzy Idy, Lunaxix, Nmemoth, Fluorescent Grey, and Abandoned Footwear, the party starts at 2pm and will be running live until the store closes.
