A sociopolitical sound artist Eva Reicher, originally from the Volga region, is accustomed to facing prejudice due to her appearance: she is often mistaken for a little kid. With this peculiarity, she has journeyed from complete denial to extreme acceptance. Now living in Germany, Eva presents her new project, DJ milipizdruchka, where the main character is a little rebel who, according to her, is only 0 years old.
Milipizdruchka's music is a child's perspective on the decidedly adult problems of our world, expressed through experiments on the edge of art and cringe: bright baby vocals, acid grooves, and explosive children's synthesizers.
Despite her nickname, DJ milipizdruchka is not a DJ. She first gained recognition in the underground scenes of Moscow and Tbilisi, performing immersive live shows: there, she would throw plush toys into the audience, lead a round dance, and make the crowd shout “no” fiercely for five minutes straight. Milipizdruchka's performances resemble both a protest and a children's matinee crashed by Crystal Castles or IC3PEAK.
One of these shows was the performance “mir v p****”, the recording of which gained tens of thousands of views on TikTok, attracting the attention of bloggers and new fans. Turning the 40-minute live program into a song, DJ milipizdruchka takes her first step towards a debut album by presenting the eponymous track, in which she depicts the horrors of the world through the eyes of a child. The artist jokes that she doesn't know how to translate the single's title into English, as both “world is f***ed” and “peace in vagina” are equally accurate.

Her approach to tragedy resembles satire, as if mocking the indifference of those who manage to live carefree, like children, today. At the same time, Milipizdruchka's new work is reminiscent of Dadaism: through grotesque, she makes sense of terrifying feelings, creating a mournful children's disco in the track, swaying collective grief and madness to absurd EDM rhythms.
The driving force behind this lively sound is Milipizdruchka herself, creating all the music in an uncompromising DIY format. Her arsenal includes a vintage Yamaha PSS-190 children's synthesizer, a budget microphone, and years of sound design experience, allowing her to transform her voice, samples (ranging from internet memes to church bells), and audio waste into captivating electronic melodies and textures.
The idea for the video was to ask listeners to show what “mir v p****” means to them. Combining footage sent by fans with her own, Milipizdruchka created an acid video sequence in the aesthetics of the 2000s, representing a kaleidoscope of views that reveal the essence of “mir v p****”.
