Marking his first full-length solo release in four years, the veteran American composer and Ghostly International alumnus returns with his highly anticipated new album, set for release on November 8th, 2024, via the Black Knoll Editions imprint. Composed over three years, FAÇADISMS is a late capitalist lament of simmering electric desolation.
“Control Your Soul's Desire for Freedom,” the album's first single, delves into themes of disillusionment and the unraveling of myth with Julia Kent’s masterful cello intertwining with Hannah Elizabeth Cox’s pure, hypnotic voice adding a mesmerizing dimension. Mournful melodies seamlessly merge with Irisarri's ashen swaths of overdriven electronics to create a rapturous doom that captures the essence of FAÇADISMS, portraying a world where shared illusions crumble, leaving behind a haunting, resonant truth.
