Sonic Panda invite you to dance with the devil on their new single ‘Bailes Con Beelzebub’ — an explosive collision of hard-edged electronics, gothic industrial textures and the dark, theatrical energy that has become a signature of the band.
Taking inspiration from the current resurgence of “Satanic Panic,” the track turns the familiar language and imagery of religious horror cinema into a twisted metaphor for today’s increasingly fractured sociopolitical landscape. Rather than simply playing with satanic imagery for shock value, Sonic Panda use it as a vehicle for satire, confrontation and dark humour.
The song arrives alongside an equally outrageous music video, packed with excess, black comedy and genre-film references. Deliberately confrontational and unapologetically vulgar at times, the video takes Sonic Panda’s visual universe to its most extreme territory yet — leaving little room for indifference.
Adding another layer to the release, the single comes with a remix by Rotersand, the influential German duo who have been a defining force in the European industrial scene for more than two decades. Long-standing Sonic Panda references, Rotersand bring their own distinctive electronic-industrial treatment to the track.
The ‘Bailes Con Beelzebub’ EP, available digitally and on vinyl and CD, also includes two additional tracks: a remix of ‘Lucky Seven’ by Sonic Panda producer Carlsed, and a live recording of ‘Invisible Boy’. The physical editions are completed by an exclusive comic book created by Sonic Panda frontman Pere Ibañez, expanding the twisted visual world surrounding the band and the release.
‘Bailes Con Beelzebub’ is the final single before the arrival of Sonic Panda’s highly anticipated debut album, ‘Neomelodrama’. Set for release on October 30, just in time for Halloween, alongside a series of surprise international collaborations.
After two years of work, Sonic Panda are ready to open the doors to the full ‘Neomelodrama’ universe. But before they do, ‘Bailes Con Beelzebub’ offers one last unapologetic taste of what is coming — louder, darker and with absolutely nothing held back.
‘Bailes Con Beelzebub’ is out now on all major digital platforms, as well as vinyl and CD. All physical editions include the exclusive Sonic Panda comic book.
Sonic Panda’s debut album ‘Neomelodrama’ arrives October 30, featuring ‘Bailes Con Beelzebub’ alongside their recent singles ‘Silence Is In Vogue’, ‘Lucky Seven’ and ‘Invisible Boy’.
