Recorded and produced by Vera, mixed and mastered by Paolo Panella, and released via Manimal Vinyl (US) and Niafunken (IT), “Altar of Love'' is a song about freedom. Each of her last singles. in fact, represents a Demon, against which she fights (the Demon of Pain in *Painfall”, a Kitsune Demon in “Shellbone”, the Demon of Self-Sabotage in “The Truth”) till she sees finally that she can defeat all of them only through an Act of Love.
You can see it in the video. She seems to become a spirit, to finally understand what her soul is made of, floating and dancing in the streets, free from what was holding her back. She takes her Demons by hand and sings and dances and plays with them around the Altar of Love.
All the clips were intentionally shot with an iPhone, during her American tour in New York and Austin at the New Colossus Festival and SXSW in March 2022, and the final version of the video is edited by Marcello Rotondella.
