Empire State Human new 2002 release "Alpha & Omega" is the follow up from their previous highly acclaimed debut cd "Pop Robot." There are 15 rare tracks from both the "Martian Anthems" & "Pop Robot" recording sessions. These diverse digital electronica tunes features remixes and collaborations with some of today's best underground artists such as COUNT TO INFINITY, FREEZEPOP, WAVE IN HEAD, & ONE LAZY EAR. Some songs have mid-tempo ballads like "Fallout" and the beautiful piano and strings melody "Wait Until The Night." A remake of two movie themes; John Barry's "Persuaders" and John Carpenter's horror classic "Halloween" that's done in a techno style. The Irish trio is very talented and unique in their own way. Who knows what will they do on their next album. If you like Erasure, I guarantee you'll like ESH!

Movie BLADE RUNNER mark its 20th year, since the original release, 1982. One of a remarkable sci-fi history making by Ridley Scott, that's based on the late Phillip K. Dick 1968 novel "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?", who died the same year the movie came out in theaters. The music score is done by synthesizer master himself, Vangelis, who also did the electronic music score for academy award winning film, "Chariots Of Fire." Vangelis futuristic music is an outtake of some of the characters and what's going on in the film. Some tracks on disc are heard in the film, but most wasn't release. Now you can have the opportunity to listen to all the scores including "Tales Of The Future", "Blush Response", "Wait For Me", "Love Theme", and "Blade Runner Blues". A few tracks features dialogue from the movie. Best soundtrack ever produced with electronics!

VNV Nation "FuturePerfect" Metropolis Records Prepare yourself for the ultimate electronic synth-pop industrial ebm dance album by UK's own, VNV Nation, which stands for Victory Not Vengeance. Ronan and crew really hypes things up with powerful synths and electro beats that will make you bounce with such songs as "Epicentre", "Genesis", "Electronaut" and "Fearless". The band slows things down with a mid-tempo on "Holding On", and "Carbon". Once you pop this cd in your player, you'll never want to stop playing it.

Virgin Black: Sombre Romantic

Virgin Black "Sombre Romantic" The End Records This is one pure unique beautiful album by Australia's band, Virgin Black. Their music is goth/metal mixed with classical, gregorian chant, choir and opera. So brilliant, it's also sad, a feeling of sorrow and death. The cello that's playing on some of the tracks brings out the sadness and darkening gloom. There's an industrial track called "Walk Without Limbs" that's great for a club play. Also included a second cd of the band's three song ep "Trance." "Sombre Romantic" is an outstand-ing incredible album to get your hands on, only if you're an goth and metal fan.
