Although I had not heard of this project, I knew of the person behind it. This is the nom de plume of Czech experimentalist Radek Kopel, who has more aliases than a guy in the witness protection program and has been in a million bands, most notably Napalmed and the person behind the Napalmed label. In short, the guy knows his way around the noise scene, so let's get into the music.

This disc consists of two tracks. First, we have “Gojko Mrvitch,” which is a great noise track, with analog noises, hiss, and static everywhere as the entire composition stutters and cuts out all over the place. There is a ton going on in here to keep it from becoming too dull. “Laco MrtWitch” keeps this all going but now we have a shortwave radio going berserk all over the place.

Overall, this is some really good noise that clearly does not take itself too seriously. If you like the “everything including the kitchen sink because I'm pretty sure we can get a cool sound out of it” noise, this will be right up your alley. This album weighs in at 21 minutes.
