Bunker Soldier is the Timothy Tyran's personal project and TRIPLE THREAT is his third CD release since 1996’s "Quite A Dilemma". This new release is a CDs containing three songs: "Warlocked", "Flying" and "Firewall". The first one is an instrumental track full of Middle Eastern melodies which seem to float within the guitar riffs and the electro instruments. "Flying" is the real single of the three. Here the 21 year old Norwegian jazz singer Hildegunn Surdal gives her voice making of this an electro pop tune really radio friendly which reminds me of Gary Numan of "The Fury" period. With "Firewall" (the track I appreciated most of the lot), the Numan influence is more clear as this one is an instrumental track which seems to come directly from the album "I Assassin" along with "Music For Chameleons". All in all this is a good single and I'm confident that Timothy will be able to refine all his influences and skills to do a perfect album in the near future.
