RDKPL is one of many monikers of the rather prolific Czech artist Radek Kopel (I think he is trying to see if he can release as much music on Inner Demons as Dan Fox) I enjoyed his last Inner Demons discs, "droloctronix," so I was interested to see what he had for us this time. The liner notes state that this is "Wired and pulsared on 'SOMA Pulsar-23' by RK with no effects." Let’s dive in and see what we have this time.

"230326_01" is glitchy as hell, and sounds like circuit bent CasioTones with a lot of intermittent static blasts thrown in throughout. It is sparse, but this keeps it interesting. "230326_02" keeps the glitch going with heavy analog bass bleats and static with a lot of space in it. Sounds like the cable is shorting out. "230326_03" keeps the glitchiness, but is more along the lines of line noise and crackling static.

This disc is a slight departure from some of the other work I have heard from RDKPL. Overall, it was interesting, but not really something I would want to listen to over and over again. That said, it works perfectly for the 3” format. If you like minimalist glitch, this may be up your alley. This disc weighs in at around 21 minutes.
