Edouard Ferlet, the visionary French pianist, continues his exploration of the intersection between human creativity and machine precision with his latest album, "PIANOïD²." Following on from his initial project, "PIANOïD," which began in 2021, Ferlet pushes the boundaries further by integrating acoustic piano with sophisticated technological tools like the Silent™ piano system, MIDI controllers, Ableton software, and the Dysklavier™.

Central to this album's innovation are the algorithmic switching machines attached to the Silent™ piano, enabling Ferlet to activate a second piano. This setup allows him to produce simultaneous notes, intricate rhythms, increased dynamic nuances, and unprecedented control over the musical output. The result is an astonishing display of technical prowess and artistic vision, where Ferlet leverages these tools to expand the expressive possibilities of his music.
