Time breathes through music. It lingers in its echoes, stretches itself across rhythmic loops, and occasionally, it anchors itself in personal memory, turning sound into something more than just a vibration in the air. With "Hundred Years EP", Olivan crafts a deeply felt, introspective yet danceable collection that straddles the line between organic warmth and electronic hypnosis.

The title track "Hundred Years" is a meditative piece, pulsing with melancholic beauty. It carries the weight of history - both personal and environmental - like a tree standing through generations, its roots intertwined with memory. The track's airy melodies drift over a steady groove, evoking a sense of nostalgia and renewal in equal measure. Acid Pauli's "Robot Remix" takes the track into dreamlike terrain, stripping it down to its bones, while Nhii's rework adds a textural complexity that builds like a slow sunrise over an ancient landscape.

The EP’s second original track, "Father and Son", is a collaboration between Olivan and his father, Georgy Spice. This isn’t just music; it’s a bridge between generations. The gentle interplay between melody and rhythm feels like a quiet conversation - a passing down of stories, of wisdom, of time spent together. Dandara’s remix transforms it into something more kinetic, infusing a percussive energy that urges the track onto the dancefloor without losing its emotional depth.

Beyond the music, "Hundred Years EP" is a project rooted - literally - in a philosophy of sustainability and remembrance. In tribute to an ancient copper beech lost to a storm, Olivan has planted a tree for every vinyl record produced, each accompanied by a certificate detailing its location and ecological impact. It’s a poetic gesture, transforming an ephemeral moment into something tangible, something that will outlive us.

This release is a quiet triumph, where music, memory, and nature merge into one. Olivan doesn’t just create tracks—he cultivates experiences, crafting soundscapes that move beyond the dancefloor and into the soil, the sky, and the passing of time itself.
