Koen decided to move on from his firstborn and concentrate on his other projects Legion Ultra and Cold Flesh Colony. The six tracks of this album see Murnau at the top of his intransigent grinding noisy and shouted offer. Even more lo-fi Koen decide to use raw rhytmical loops to build his suites of pain. Listening to his stuff it comes to my mind a paragon between the German director Koen took the name from and the not-music produced by the Belgian project. If Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau as a director was exploring the fields of movie expression, we could say that Koen did the same with the sound (don't think about how important the director was, I'd like to think about the emotions involved into the process of creation). The images of "Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens" come to my mind with their slow movements while the music of "Severance", "Predominance", "Heresy", "Imd", "Redemtion" and "Nada" seem to dig a hole (the grinding noises) where find peace where there isn't any.
