Even if Plan E is a creature of an Impaled Nazarene's collaborator, it couldn't sound more different from that extreme metal band. Here the music is less aggressive and more intimate but having a powerful structure and a strong sense of melody/atnosphere. The sound is really particular and catchy because the songs are built exclusively on bass and synth sounds. The band use different basses at the same time, one distorted, the other not, etc. creating a particular atmosphere wich along with the progressive layers of the synth make of BEST KEPT SECRET (their third album) a particular and good work of art. Also the passionate vocals of Jani Lehtosaari help a lot into the creation of this dark masterwork and if you are a Nick Cave, Morphine and new wave lover you'll dig the songs of this album. Along with the songs you can also find a video of "Shadow in the dark" and thanks to this you'll experience the real Finnish atmosphere that helped creating this sounds.
