Well, finally I am a bit confused. ORPHEÉ play a mix taken from influences of Pop, EBM, Industrial, Wave, Grunge and Nu Metal, so it is written down in the info sheet of this release. And so we have here my problem, because this mix is really not my cup of tea. What I surely can say is that elements with the big notion "EBM" are definitivly not present here. Four band members hailing from the north-east of Germany on which two are guitarists – well, slowly I get what market this should be able to serve. Take a hint of RAMSTEIN, mixed with some real Gothic/Wave attitudes, mixed again with MAINSTREAM infiltrated accoustic elements plus a very good vocalists who is able to give a whole boring track some personality and you got it. Some good tracks are present here, the opener "Exit" for sure, the smooth "Friends for Life" with an excellent melodic refrain and maybe "Black Breathe". As I said – this is not my battlefield, but I can realize a good production and maybe this band will enter some success through this. For me it is comparable with how it feels if Dracula would drink holy water. So please don’t ask me for a star rating because that wouldn’t be fair to the band and I haven’t heard anything compareable.
