This debut 10" by Solitarien Effekten is a really good record. I could end my review at this point because if you love '80s influenced electro wave and you already visited Enfant Terrible website and checked the songs excerpts you know that I'm right. Anyway, if you didn't, I can tell you that Solitarien Effekten 10" contains six songs of analogue eletronic music with influences that goes from minimal neo romantic to new wave passing through electro pop. If you love German bands of the '80s (Grauzone, Der Plan or early D.A.F. as well as Liasons Dangerous) and you like dark electro pop (in this case "Ein Kleines Stück Erinnerung" is the song for you) or analogue electro music you'll fall in love with this release. The band embraces a "back to basic" attitude by playing analogue instruments without using midi interfaces nor computers. Try them, this release (white vinyl 10" and insert) is limited to 529 hand numbered copies.
