In balance from a goth opera with metal and orchestral arrangements and melodic goth metal, DELIGHT AND TEARS isn't properly the first album I'd chose for my trip to a deserted island but for the lovers of the aforementioned genres it could be an interesting release as Onix Eyes take classic elements of the genres and play with them filling the songs with original passages, like the folk melodies on the opening part of "Ask". For my taste this album is far too pop but as I told the lovers of epic metal/goth may enjoy this sound.
