Producing and djing for the last decade the French-German Munich-Ibiza based guy called Jean Claude Ades is releasing on October the tenth his first full length album titled FINALLY! Released by Swing Records/Great Stuff the album contains twelve tracks where Jean breaks every boundary by mixing a lot of genres. Since the opening "Spanish Harlem" you'll be stimulated by a techno base duetting with a Spanish style guitar with the add, on the final part, of a soul/house vocal. The following "Shingaling" is a classic salsa track written by Louie Ramirez in the 60s and then recorded by Kako And His Orchestra. Jean mixed the latter version with techno inserts and pumping mid tempo rhythms. The following "Total love" mix classic techno bass lines with house vocals but changing a little the formula here and there with electro/funk moments. The album mix reworked versions of past hits like "I begin to wonder" the Danni Minogue hit that now is present with its "2008 remix" (its has more techno inserts and more tweaking on Dannii vocal parts). Also present "Someday", "Fly Away", "Slap That Bitch" which have been produced with German house star Tom Novy and performed by ex-Snap vocalist and Madonna background singer Niki Harris. With her we have on guest vocals Tara Mc Donald (Armand van Helden’s top vocalist who also stars in the new David Guetta single). Personally I'm not into house music at all but I really appreciated the way Jean Claude Ades mixed the genres and how he used the techno parts (see the inserts on "Out there" for example or the whole "Slap that bitch" and "African voices").
