Cold Flesh Colony is another project headed by Koen / Murnau (see the reviews section and the interviews section to get more informations about his releases) and SANATORIUM is its first release. Released as a limited edition of 200 7"s, SANATORIUM sees Koen dealing with classic power noise kinda tracks. Pulsating noises duet with feedback and screaming tones while he screams his lyrics. Even if the project deals always with noise, Cold Flesh Colony has got a different approach to it respect Murnau. Here the noise seems to be used as background to layers of distorted vocals. Sounding more homogeneous respect Koen's primary project, Cold Flesh Colony recalls a little the sound of the early Ramleh but treated in a personal way.
