Neverwood's MISTY MORNING is the second album after their debut "Trapped Inside" and it spreads the band's fairy and dreamy sounds during fifty five minutes, creating a mellow and fluffy sensation. At a first listening only few songs convinced me, because their quiet atmospheres are too sofisticated for my tastes. You know, it's like to listen to a Bjork / Portished blend all concentrated into one hour. The first time I listened to it at work and suddenly one of my colleagues asked me to borrow it to him because he was in the mood for something relaxing and smooth. I'm really rarely into that mood so the songs I appreciated most are: the opening "Borderline", "Waning Moon", "On The Origin Of Speech" and "Parallel Dimensions" which alternate calm atmospheres with drum'n'bass / trip hop rhythms more than jazzy moments with polished and flangered guitars.
