On DJ Baby Anne's side of this disc is titled "Assault". Jen Lasher's side is titled "Battery". This double disc is very exciting. It sounds almost like drum n' bass but it's actually bass. Yes, there is a sub-genre of electronic music called "bass" and it's been around for a long time now yet this still sounds very fresh. No wonder why these duo are known as the "Queens of Bass". These duo have superior production skills and not to mention good looks.

Not bad for a debut. This is a mix of ambient, dub, trance, breaks, and deep house. Fans of Orbital, The Orb and William Orbit take note. The singing talent of Suzanne Sterling is superior. She has worked with other artists before but the only one I am familiar with was a band called SKYCLAD, which is a metal band but then again it could be a different band. Alex Newman's production skills is tremendous. This duo has worked with Medicine Drum before as keyboardist and lead vocalist. Alcyone is a group everyone into this type of music should look out for. This duo is destined to be great and I am looking forward to seeing them progress as time goes.

This is a double CD album from HELL. The first disc is a "best of" and the second disc is a "remix" CD. As this artist has been around for over a decade, this should be an exciting addition to your collection of electronic music. This double CD also features 9 unreleased versions of HELL's best anthems so it's not one of those put together a "best of" CD and make a quick buck type of release. This is actually worth buying.

All I can say is wow! This band truly captured that sci-fi sound. I love the way the music is produced and the vocals are fantastic. The overall presentation of the band is very sci-fi-like. Very cool. This is more than club music, this can actually be a film soundtrack. You might hear this type of music in the movie such as The Matrix and upon reading the information sheet from this release, this band is in fact featured in the The Matrix DVD and Special Effects set. This CD has a superb remix by Razed in Black. UV is a must hear band. Be sure not to miss this one.

Pleasures Remain's synthpop style is very reminiscent of New Order meets Depeche Mode. The second track "One Step Ahead" is truly enjoyable. It kept my music listening experience to this more fun after the intro track. The other songs in this album is of high quality that is worthy of club plays and should reach the top of the charts. This could be a new synthpop anthem for the modern generation. Pleasures Remain does have a little Nitzer Ebb influences thrown in especially in the drum sounds, but not too fast nor aggressive as early Nitzer Ebb was. This is more mellow. The vocals is very melodic especially during those sweet choruses. The complexity of the music is killer. I'm pretty sure a lot of time was put into producing this album. It's quite a masterpiece.
