Saemskin: A Simile For Murder

The artist is called Saemskin so is the label/recording studio that produced this and put this out. I guess there aren't that many names left in the world. But don't get confused. According to this album, this is a one-man band of some sort of industrial music, as many are in this genre. The music is somewhat repetitive and slightly dancy beats are incorporated to the atmospheric keys. The vocals are spoken for the most part, none are actually sung. The whole CD presentation is sufficient enough but the music simply sounds cheap. Perhaps Saemskin used cheap music softwares to create this brand of music? This isn't my cup of tea.

This is a musical research by Stan Reed/Gregor Jabs/Frank Rowenta. The CD packaging is pro-quality considering that it is only limited to 300 copies. It's quite an exciting sound exploration if I must say so, just a bit odd.

OK, 16 tracks, over 1 hour in length with different artists coming from different labels and countries make this such a special CD compilation. Great packaging with great artists. This is not one of those releases that only concentrate on "great packaging" (an overdone thing in this genre of music and other genres as well, nowadays). The label that put this out actually chose to put great artists with great tracks on. The label that put this out is based in Japan. Definitely a must have!

Wow. This is really hilarious. LOL. I don't really know what the purpose of this release is all about. This is experimental music so go figure. The vocals do sound like Yoko Ono at times. Other than that this is just sounds, and mostly percussion sounds. The artist has quite an impressive resume and achievements. Do your own research about it. This is not some kid wanking around with sounds. This is actually an artist. This disc offers 1 track that is close to 30 minutes. Not a bad experimental release, it's just very new to my ears.

Fe-mail: Voluptuous Vultures

Fe-mail is a duo electronic/noise outfit consisting of two Norweigian females, hence the name Fe-mail. The duo are also known to be in the band called SPUNK. The sound isn't very demanding, but for collecting purposes, this release is very limited to 1000 copies on CD. It's just noise and crazy sounds. Heard this, and I'm done with it. Take care.
