I really like some of the products which are released by Section44, expecially Provision. Chinese Theatre is an interesting project for the plastic synth addicted freaks! Voices and Machines is a perfect analogue pop product. With a broken view is a hit styled song which dates back to the eighties. Juicy synth tunes and colored sounds will fill your ears. Sometimes melodies have a sad taste, most of all for the voice line ("Change of Time" is a good example).
If you are into synth pop, please listen to this cd, you will be enchanted.

An electronic recording with a very good production. I actually do not like its cover artwork but as far as the music is concerned, the audio quality is detailed and well balanced. I cannot say the same for the songs, due to the fact that they aren't neither synth pop nor ebm. I mean, they aren't catchy enough to be remembered and at the same time they sound too light to be considered underground. "Too afraid" is the most interesting song.

Records like this really thrill those listeners who are into electro stuff. No ebm attitudes, no nostalgic synth pop clones but a fresh wave of modern music. Since the very first note of Double Shadow, analogue sounds surround you, machine boxes make you feel like a human robot. The approach is somehow minimal but at the same time full of nice arrangements as well. First time is simply a masterpiece! It has got a breathtaking change of tune, an elegant clarinet and a good use of the voice. Soft arpeggiators are often in pole position (they sometimes remind me of Water Lily by Sputnika) with tiny pads behind... Dreamy danceable music for sophisticated ears.

This material is deeply evocative and deals with arcane audio structures. There are both dark elements and crystal sounds. It is an album by a Finnish duo with a very nice artwork! By listening to it, you will be like a traveller inside a quiet dimension where you are allowed and invited to dig your soul. It is interesting to notice that these recordings have been made with no electronic stuff, at least for the first phase. Silver River is probably the deepest moment of the album. The listener will get a strange pleasure in finding himself in a path full of darkness and light.

A very suggestive cdr. The work art is handmade and very arty. The music is mysterious and evocative. It is a single track and it lasts for several minutes. Although very minimal, it is moody and pensive. You will find ritual atmosphere, dark suggestion and lisergic construction.
