In trying to find more about this artist, I managed to learn about plastiglomerates, which are essentially man made stones, with rocks, sand, wood, and other natural debris held together by molten plastic. But this Plastiglomerate is the work of Thomas Tyler, who hails from Newcastle Upon Tyne and also records under the name Pastoral Abuse. This is my introduction to his work, so let's get into it.

This disc consists of one track that weighs in at 20:16. It is a grinding slab of noisy drones with a pulsing rhythm. This shifts throughout the track, keeping things interesting. All of this is grounded with a generous layer of heavy bass drone. This eventually descends into a sea of subtly shifting drone with a light dusting of static. In short, this is fantastic noise that manages to avoid being too noisy (not that that is a bad thing, of course). In some ways, it is almost soothing and this really nails it. Well worth picking up if you like droney noise.
