Imagine this: the opening credits roll, the stars stretch out into infinity, and a low hum rises as if the universe itself is taking a deep, deliberate breath. Welcome to Supercinema 05, a cinematic voyage into sonic realms crafted by DHÆÜR, a maestro of both the mental and the physical. This EP doesn’t just play; it unspools, scene by scene, on a galactic screen, blending primal grooves with the weightless drift of interstellar synths. It’s science fiction you can dance to - or maybe it’s a dance floor disguised as a spaceship.

DHÆÜR, an Italian export now crafting his vision in Berlin’s storied Funkhaus, is a name you might not yet know but certainly won’t forget. With roots in DJing and crate-digging since 2017, his work radiates the meticulous touch of a creator who knows his sound is his signature. Supercinema 05, the finale of Supercinema Records’ first story arc, is both a culmination and a statement: here is an artist who’s mapped the cosmos of techno and found his own orbit.

The EP’s opening track, Chapter 01 (Original Mix), is a call to action - or perhaps a call to stasis, depending on how you approach its hypnotic pulse. It spins slowly, like a planet revealing its dark side, building anticipation rather than expelling energy. Chapter 02 takes the reins next, with a more assertive bassline that evokes the steady hum of a warp engine. The track dares you to let go of the familiar and simply follow where it leads - no questions asked.

But it’s Chapter 03 where DHÆÜR’s talent for storytelling truly shines. The track feels alive, almost sentient, with layers that ebb and flow like tides on an alien moon. Just when you think you’ve grasped its pattern, it shifts - playful, almost ironic, as if the music itself is laughing at your need for predictability. The remix by Deluka takes this chapter into even deeper, darker territory. It’s the sound of the afterparty on a rogue spaceship, a celebration tinged with just the right amount of danger.

What makes this EP remarkable isn’t just its precision or power but its ability to transport. DHÆÜR doesn’t rely on overt hooks or climactic drops. Instead, he builds an ecosystem of sound where hypnotic rhythms and subtle atmospheres work in tandem to engulf the listener. It’s music for bodies, sure, but it’s also music for minds that like to wander - to the edge of the universe and back.

And perhaps that’s the beauty of Supercinema 05: its irony lies in its seriousness, its willingness to lean fully into the sci-fi metaphor while delivering grooves that are anything but alien to the dance floor. The EP is a reminder that techno, at its best, is an art of world-building, of crafting not just tracks but experiences. DHÆÜR doesn’t just make music; he builds a stage and invites you to step into the scene.
So here’s the final act of this cinematic journey. Sit back, stand up, move, or get lost - whatever your method, DHÆÜR has already set the coordinates. Where you go from here is entirely up to you.
