Consisting of Eric Maia, here we like to introduce the Seattle-based Avantgarde act CELADON presenting here a first audio disc. 8 tracks and 40 minutes of a very special kind of Industrial music which is for sure far away of what you’ve never heard of or experienced so far. It contributes a working process of "found" sounds recorded and taken out of the near area, a real field-recording work. Samples of trains, machines, birds ("Earth Abides"), nature itself and people with radio sets ("Good Ole Boy") have been selected, arranged and layered into a detailed compositional process. A very own and unique kind of work, which mostly doesn’t sound harsh or destroying – it moreover can consist of the nice and sweet "noises" around you. It is globally a dark and at times ominous sounding release, but it doesn’t feature hammering aggression. The right mastering done in the legendary Metarc studios saves the professional outcome of this release. I can recommend a good pair of headphones and some attention, you’ll be rewarded with a remarkable and entertaining listening. Eric is also part of the experimental trio DEEP MUSEUM where he performs improvised Industrial music around the Seattle area. Real and unique Avantgarde music is still out there – go out and pick this up!
