This is an interesting album recording. Phantoms of the SS gives us a simple crafted untitled seven tracks. A mixture of Germans talking samples that's on a film with a combination of sounds of noise and percussions. Consistently dark and experimental. One of the tracks have a dictator speaking. The last track is my favorite. Electronic dark synth sets off the fiery demonic rage. A perfect fitting to end the album. Phantoms of the SS sets the standard for the modern exploration in atmospheric and dynamic music simplistic range.

Stockholm, Sweden own Waves Under Water (formerly known as Hopscotch) gives us an ep containing of four beautiful tracks that's made to played in the time of autumn and winter. The songs are delivered in a darkwave and electronic form. Vocalist, Angelica Segerback, sings with an enchanting and mellow feel. Like a mother singing a lullaby to her baby to sleep. Johan Svardshammar handles the songwriting and instruments playing. All four tracks are emotionally bliss out with a haunting and powerful melodies. Lush synths layers and electro beats with bass and guitar used in the compositions as well. Johan plays the bass with an sickle. Precisely it can be done. We all have seen Jimmy Page played the guitar with an cello and violin bow. It takes a genius to think of something to combine something that may not make any sense to a person. Perfectly, the tracks are a club and dance waltz in a formal feel of romanticism. We are awash in a bright atmosphere and mind state by the cause of nature, dreams, religion and emotions. The "Winter Garden" ep brush out a snowy and cold landscape. Credit the Swedish duo for showing interest in their hard work to entice the listeners. Remarkably soothing, touching, consistent exploration of modern life. Waves Under Water is the next big thing in the gothic and electronic movement.

So lovely and tenderly, the fab four beauties, Rio, Kazhmir, Metro and Machine, released an ep with five nicely club pop cuts, a follow-up from their critical acclaimed selling album "Danceteria". Rio's intrguing delightful delicious vocals is enlightened with deep emotions blending rich elegance with the music. Thick synth layers and bass combined by giving it a perfect combination. The poppy arrangements warm its emotional weather. Simply amazing, catchy, and good all around. Infectious synth-pop grooves includes the tracks "Distressed", the dark "The Devil's Lies" is deliciously dangerous about a man betrayed his woman by lying. And "The Shakes" have that finger snapping and hip shaking groove. "Close To Me EP" is driven by pulsating danceable new wave pop. Lyrics empowering and music punctuated with energy to make you get up and dance while the colorful strobelights rolling around on the ceiling and walls . Girls On Film have style, class, sassy, and the right female sex appeal to move the people by making them dance. These four gorgeous divas had already paid their dues by getting known and respect by performing with promotions and advertising and the help by clubs and fans and word of mouth. Need I say more?

Australia trio, The Greenmatics, find the solace of the simplicity of retro 80's for their ep debut. A classic for anyone who appreciate synth-pop/electro-pop. The good vibrations are picked up by female frontwoman Green. "I Love Technology" is the opening track. A catchy tune with Gordo's unique dark bassline feel. The next track is "Wait No More", another retro 80's vibe with a vintage synth sound. The modern tracks "Talk" and "Greentea" captures today's modern electro-pop, the way it's arrange. The beat on each track is indeed well striking performed tremendously because of the way Antanas plays the electronic drum set with an energetic thrust. You may think it's a drum machine programmed, but it's played live. Antanas plays a catchy beat that will have you dancing. The ep is very poppy with a sense of humor. The band is serious and mean business. All the while though, each tracks develop its own identity with synths, sequencers, bass, and beat all blend in one form.

Their dvd feature all four of their tracks in mp3 file, magazine and radio interview, bio and their videos "I Love Technology", which is directed by the band themselves and have an 80's effect appeal and the animated "Wait No More" on the level of a video game approach.

Nothing but club and radio hits this band is offering. Enjoy this cd and dvd and you'll be glad you did. This band is worth a listen.
